Visiting the Sembrich

I’m always looking for new places to photograph.  Today I visited the Sembrich Museum in Bolton Landing, NY.  Here are some photos from my visit!

The grounds are beautiful, overlooking Lake George.

The building is the former studio of opera singer Marcella Sembrich, who rose to fame in the late 1800s.

The living room is full of interesting objects.

A view from the porch back into the living room.

A pleasant place to sit and enjoy the lake!

The Steinway.

A miniature depiction of La Bohème.

Outside, the grounds were just gorgeous.

The green building is where Mme Sembrich’s students from Juilliard went to learn languages.

Inside the University of Modern Languages.  What a view!

A view of Lake George from the look out.

Off in the distance is the Sagamore.

The Adirondac passes by in the distance.

Bonus:  I took this photo of one of the new rides at Six Flags Great Escape from across the street at Martha’s Dandee Creme.
