Saratoga Victorian Streetwalk 2016

I attended Saratoga’s Victorian Streetwalk on December 1st for the first time in several years.  This annual event is a fun way to ring in the holiday season.

Many of the local businesses have festive decorations out.  I love this little tree in Lyrical Ballad Bookstore.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in Victorian attire.

It was certainly crowded, but not unbearably so.  All those people walking around probably warmed things up anyways!

Many of Saratoga’s buildings fit in beautifully with the Victorian theme.

How cute is this basset hound in his Santa suit?

Although I usually use my wide angle lens, sometimes I like to use my 135mm lens to compress the view, like in the photo above.

Carolers outside city hall is an annual tradition!

I love that giant wreath on the Adirondack Trust Company building.

Santa even posed for a portrait!

One of Santa’s reindeer was there to join the festivities.

Lake Avenue Fire Department Dressed up for the HolidaysPost Streetwalk, I stopped by the Lake Avenue Fire Station to get a shot of this building all dressed up in holiday lights.

Across the street, I took what turned out to be a slightly eerie photo of the New York State Military Museum.
