Hometown Pride Series: Snowy Saratoga

My hometown of Saratoga Springs, NY recently got 30 inches of snow!  As a result, I’ve been busy taking photographs.  Here are some of my favorite photos of this historic event!

This sunset photo is one of my favorites that I took.  Click here to order a print of this photo.

Saratoga looked like the inside of a snow globe!  Click here to order a print of this photo.

I love the little pine trees juxtaposed with the big ones.  Click here to order a print of this photo.
Now, I consider landscapes and cityscapes my primary genres of interest, but I dabble in many different genres, including real estate and pet photography.  I captured the above photo of my cat looking out at the snow from my living room.  Now, I couldn’t get her to pose where I wanted in the photo, so I cheated a little.  I took another photo of Fran looking out at the snow from a different angle and placed her into the scene here.  Don’t tell anyone!

Another shot of Fran admiring the white fluffy stuff.

And yet another one, because, well, cats!
My friend Traci and I went over to Saratoga Spa State Park, and boy was it beautiful!  Click here to order a print of this photo.

Traci marvels at the beauty.

Would you look at all that snow!
I must have 100 photos of this location.

I had a little fun with this photo and replaced the sky with a sky from another one of my photos.

The light was perfect.  Click here to order a print of this photo.

Walking the cross country trails made for some beautiful scenery.  Click here to order a print of this photo.

This skier was kind enough to stop and pose for a photo.

Makes me want to take up cross country skiing!

On the east side of town, St. Clement’s Church can be seen through the trees in this photo.
