Fall 2020 in and Around Saratoga

Well, fall may not be over yet, but once December rolls around and the Christmas decorations go up, it starts to feel like winter to me.  This fall, due to covid, I didn’t really venture outside of a one hour radius of my home in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Although I typically don’t do a lot of traveling in the fall, this year I did none.  I am, however, really lucky to live an area that really looks gorgeous at this time of year.  So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from 2020.

I photographed these ducks by the War Memorial in Congress Park at the beginning of fall.  Click here to purchase a print of this photo.

I took this photo outside the National Museum of Racing with my phone.

I also took this photo of a fall scene on the east side of Saratoga with my phone.

I took this photo of the entrance to Saratoga Spa State Park.  Click here to see more of my photos from the State Park this fall.

A beautiful fall scene in Granville.  Click here to order a print of this photo, and click here to view more of my photos of Granville and the Glens Falls area this fall.

Some leaves falling to the ground in Granville.  Click here to order a print of this photo.

This leaf fell on my windshield, but it looks like it’s just floating to the ground.  Click here to order a print of this photo.

Another beautiful display of foliage in Granville.  Click here to order a print of this photo.

I captured this photo of Ducky the cat at 4J Farmm in Argyle, where I took a trail ride.  In my next post, I will share some photos of horses that I took this fall in my next post.

I took a lot of photos of my grandmother this fall.  I took this portrait of her through her window.

I found this leaf stuck in my grandmother’s fence.

I took this portrait go my grandmother on her porch from her backyard while we had a socially distanced visit.

Another portrait of her standing by a tree.

One final fall portrait of her!

I can’t get enough of my friend Juliana’s puppy Mijo!  Click here to view more of my photos of Mijo.

I captured this creation outside the Posie Peddler in Saratoga.

I saw this Black Lives Matter message written on a wall on Lake Ave. in Saratoga.

A beautiful fall afternoon in Saratoga!

There was one day when it snowed this fall, and it made for some neat photos.

Snow and fall foliage, all in one shot.

And now we usher in the holiday season!  Fran enjoying our new Christmas tree while Judy Garland sings “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” on the television.
