Walt Disney World Trip Part IV: Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Blvd and Keystone Clothiers

This is my fourth of five installments of photos I took on my most recent Walt Disney World trip.  Earlier I posted about a day in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a day at EPCOT, and a day at Magic Kingdom.

On the way to the Great Movie Ride, I grabbed a shot of this statue, which may or may not be of Walt Disney.  I can’t seem to walk by it without grabbing a shot!

The first ride of the day was the Great Movie Ride.  Personally, I’m not a big fan of the whole storyline with the narrator (if you’re not familiar with it, I won’t ruin it for you), but I love so many of the movies featured in this ride that I’m willing to overlook that.

After the Great Movie Ride, it was time for lunch at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano.  Mama Melrose’s is a pretty neat restaurant.  In the lobby area there are photos of all the stars who have been there, and Italian language movie posters and other memorabilia adorn the walls.  The food and the service were great as well.

After lunch, we went to see Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage.  Unfortunately, arriving 5 minutes to show time doesn’t get you very good seats, so I ended up with some pretty mediocre shots.

Near the animation court yard, I happened upon a dancing demonstration with some of the characters.

I headed over to Streets of America and found a bunch of characters roaming about!

Then it was time to head over to the Tower of Terror followed by the Rock n Rollercoaster.  It was fun bringing my fisheye along!

As evening approached, I took a lot of wide angle shots as I headed out out the park to go to EPCOT for IllumiNations fireworks.  Since there were lots of people walking around, I used slow shutter speeds to blur them out a little bit.

And that’s all there is!  Stay tuned for my final installment, Disney Resorts.
