Winter 22-23 at Mahoney Eden Manor

Independence Hall’s first foal, a colt out of Seascape.

I regularly visit Mahoney Eden Manor, a Thoroughbred breeding farm in Saratoga Springs, NY. Now that spring is here, it’s high time I share some favorite winter photos I took at the farm. Click here to view previous posts about Mahoney Eden Manor.

In December, just before the start of foaling season, I ventured out to the farm on a very snowy morning. It was one of the most picturesque visits I’ve made there!

The girls are always so interested in my cameras!

The first foal born at the farm this year was an Independence Hall colt out of Seascape, the first foal for both sire and dam! He’s a spunky little fellow!

I met Goodyearforroses (IRE)’s War Front filly just minutes after she was foaled, then took some more photos of her turned out with her mom.

C’est la vie and her Munnings colt.

All Over the Map and her King for a Day colt.

Sean and his beloved Hennyville.

Qualifying and her King for a Day filly.

I got to witness the foaling of Overheated’s Yaupon filly. What an experience!

Britt and friend Lexi each pose with baby Yaupon.
