This post will feature photos I took this summer at Old Friends at Cabin Creek, the Thoroughbred retirement farm I volunteer at in Greenfield, NY. Our newest resident, A Shin Forward, arrived from Rockridge Stud in Hudson in July.
The 18 year old New York bred raced entirely in Japan and Hong Kong and stood at stud in Japan before returning stateside to stand in New York.
Upon his arrival, Shin became the highest earning horse on the farm, having amassed over $3.4 million during his racing career. Click here to order a print of this photo.
