While in my last post I shared photos from my most recent trip to Kentucky, there is still a group of photos from my trip last year that I haven’t shared here yet, which are the photos I took at Godolphin’s Gainsborough farm in Versailles. Gainsborough is one of Goldophin’s nursery farms, so in this post, you’ll see a lot of mares and foals. Click here to view my previous Kentucky posts.
Gainsborough at one time had stallions, so they have stallion covering barns. Here is a look inside one of the barns.
The outside of the beautiful stallion barn.
For those who aren’t aware, Godolphin is the racing stable of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
The grounds of Gainsborough Farm are simply beautiful.
Broodmares peek through the fence.
Visitors pet broodmare Antipathy.
Here’s Antipathy’s foal, a filly by Authentic. Remember, this is from last year, so this little gal is now a yearling!

Rose Sapphire and her Nyquist filly.
Lady Lawyer and her colt get some exercise.
Love that energy!
This photo of Rose Sapphire and her filly is my favorite.
This Tapit filly out of Elusive Quality is a full sister to 2021 Belmont and Travers Stakes winner Essential Quality. She had been born the day before.
Dubai Life and her Not This Time colt, born early that morning.
