Fall 2021 in the Saratoga and Glens Falls Areas with My iPhone 13 Pro (Part 1)

Believe it or not, the majority of the photos I have taken in the past few months have been on my new iPhone 13 Pro. I ordered the phone on release day purely because I wanted a more powerful camera to carry around in my pocket. I have really been impressed by the image quality. Previously I blogged some photos I took on the camera at Old Friends at Cabin Creek in Greenfield, NY, where I volunteer. There won’t be any photos from there in this post because I have an additional post planned of just that. In this post, the first of two, I will share recent photos I have taken in and around my hometown of Saratoga Springs, NY as well as nearby Glens Falls.

This willow tree is located in Congress Park in Saratoga.

This beautiful fall display was located at Eddie F’s.

This is one of the many beautiful homes in saratoga.

Another beautiful and meticulously maintained Saratoga home.

Skidmore College’s campus looked a luscious green in early fall.

The Arthur Zankel Music Building.

I captured this jockey outside the National Museum of Racing.

The National Museum of Racing.

Lily is my riding instructor’s dog at Rolling Oaks Farm in Gansevoort.

St. Clement’s Church looking beautiful under the perfect late afternoon sky.

A portrait of St. Clement.

This tree in Queensbury looked quintessentially fall with its golden leaves. Click here to order a print of this photo.

The Canal Feeder Trail in Glens Falls offers this beautiful view. Click here to order a print of this photo.

Here’s another view of the canal.

Walking the trail will lead one from Glens Falls to Queensbury.

This adorable dog’s name is Hopper.

This is Odis, the horse I’ve been riding at Rolling Oaks Farm in Gansevoort.

This painted horse is located outside Saratoga Race Course.

Here’s another view of the horse.

The track almost looks almost abandoned in fall!

This tree is located just outside the track. The barns of the Oklahoma Training Track can be seen in the background.

This photo, taken outside the track, gives a peek into how lonely a once-crowded venue can look in the off season.

I captured this photo of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga on an evening in early fall.

Another photo outside the Racing Museum.

I captured this night time shot on the east side of Saratoga and then used Photoshop’s depth blur feature to blur out the background.

I’ve taken so many photos so far that there will be an additional post in the near future with even more photos of Saratoga I’ve taken on my phone!
