Horse Sense Part VI

This is my sixth in a series of posts featuring equine photography.  Be sure to read parts IIIIIIIV, and V as well.  In this post I will feature photos I’ve taken recently at all three of the barns I frequent in the Saratoga area:  Old Friends at Cabin Creek in Greenfield, and Rolling Oaks Morgans and Nipper Knolls Equine Center in Gansevoort.

I actually took these first few photos back in December but I realized they never made it onto the blog.

Doc N Roll of Old Friends sticks out his tongue at his name.

King Congie of Old Friends grazes in his paddock.

Be Bullish of Old Friends makes a funny face.

A more recent photo I took of Congie.

A frequent visitor to Old Friends gives Be Bullish a pet.

A pensive portrait of Old Friends’ Watchem Smokey.

Luke of Nipper Knolls walks around the barn.

Frankie of Nipper Knolls peers out of the barn.

Max of Nipper Knolls heads towards the camera.

Me giving Frankie a kiss!

Frankie grazing.

I just love Frankie’s boots!

Frankie all tacked up to drive!

Frankie ready to drive with David onboard.

The lighting was just perfect for this shot of Max of Rolling Oaks Morgans looking out at the rain.

Linda gives Ike of Rolling Oaks a kiss.

This is Babydoll, the horse I ride at Rolling Oaks.

This is Tex, the horse my mom used to ride at Rolling Oaks.

One of the horses at Rolling Oaks gets groomed by campers at Camp Abilities Saratoga, a camp for kids with visual impairments.

Now, normally I only take photos with my professional camera, but camera phones have come a long way in recent years.  Here’s a photo I took of Red Down South of Old Friends with my new phone.
