New England Trip 2021: Miscellaneous Maine

Last summer I took a trip through New England. Previously I have shared photos of my visits to Salem and Gloucester in Massacussetts, a sunset cruise through the Mt. Desert Narrows of MaineBar Harbor, MaineAcadia National ParkStrawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, NH, and finally, the town of Portsmouth as well as neighboring New Castle, NH. In this post, I will share photos that I took in Kennebunkport and Freeport, ME.

St. Ann’s Episcopal church is located in Kennebunkport.

Inside the beautiful church.

The altar.

Looking out the door of the church.

Beautiful hydrangeas on the grounds.

Another shot of the beautiful flowers.

A view of Kennebunkport from the grounds of the church.

A beautiful home in Kennebunkport.

It just wouldn’t be a trip to Kennebunkport without a visit to the Bush family compound, which is easily viewable from a pull off.

Next was a trip to the flagship L.L. Bean store in Freeport. Here is a statue of L.L. Bean himself.

My dad plays corn hole on the lawn.

The flagship store also has a huge Hunting & Fishing building.

A giant Bean Boot is the focal point of the store.

A giant canoe hangs on display inside.
